Religious teaching offers desire and fear as the two great tensions we have to deal with in our lives. Supposedly there are two cherabim's according to teaching, those of desire and fear that guard the gates of heaven.
"It is precisely because our present life is so inseparably linked with desire that we must make use of desire's tremendous energy if we wish to transform our life into something transcendental." -Lama Thubten Yeshe, Introduction to Tantra
Most people know what they do and how they do it but great leaders inspire us when they connect with our hearts and emotions.
Every thought, every idea, is vibrational. So, when you focus your attention on something, you begin to reflect the vibration of what you are giving your attention to. This has been identified as the Law of Attraction.
“The starting point of all achievement is desire. Keep this constantly in mind. Weak desires bring weak results, just as a small amount of fire makes a small amount of heat.” - Napoleon Hill
Here is a list of core desires that you should respect and recognize to increase your self-awareness of what drives you toward the success you seek:

Individual differences in motivational needs are keys to predicting human behavior (Allport, 1950; Maslow, 1943,1970; Murray ,1938). If you want to predict what people will do, find out what they fundamentally desire and predict that they will try to satisfy their desires.
The theory of 16 basic desires is a scientific approach to the broader aspects of human behavior. Because this theory is testable, anyone who disagrees with it need only conduct the relevant research to prove his or her viewpoint. If portions of the theory are proven invalid, appropriate modifications will be made.
